Every PS3 owner should be suspect of ports, especially after Ghostbusters and the Orange Box, but this is a good idea. I think Left4Dead, Gears II and Fable II were the reasons 360 dominated last years holiday season. L4D, being a new IP, would rake in loads of cash for EA on the PS3. It is definitely a AAA title.

it would have existed back then with the internet. As I told everyone who had a 2600, they should get an Intellivision because it had better graphics, closer to arcade quality. Atari games look miserable compared to the Intellivision.
What I miss are an abundance of arcades in every mall and pizza parlor. Gamers today never had it so good with multiplayer, online, phenomenal graphics. But the internet makes people rude, childish, and polarized in their opinions.

Multi-platforming of third party exclusives were coming. You could see it coming with the debut of the XBox, Sony's closest competitor.
This goes the other direction. Both platforms know third parties will mean less and less in defining their console (as with exclusives). This a company acting like it is the end all.
Other the COD, Activision hasn't as much going for it as other third parties. I fail to see how abandoning the PS3 will change that.
